A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, supporting K-12 students in a highly regarded Ohio school district known for its commitment to inclusive and innovative education. This role covers a contract from August 5, 2025, through May 22, 2026, with a caseload managed according to Ohio Operating Standards, ensuring effective and compliant service delivery.
Work hours vary depending on the grade band served, typically between 6:45 AM and 3:50 PM, with a full-time schedule averaging 35-40 hours per week. The position is based in Groveport, OH, and requires an active Ohio license in Speech-Language Pathology.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio licensure for Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-12 students, adapting interventions across multiple grade levels
- Knowledge of Ohio Operating Standards for caseload management
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and assessment skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students per individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech or language difficulties
- Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to student needs
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success plans
