Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Pharmacist to join our team in a long-term care pharmacy setting. This role involves ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and overseeing medication preparation and dispensing.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for accuracy, appropriate dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration.
• Ensure medications are dispensed correctly, with accurate labeling and documentation.
• Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members regarding medication-related inquiries.
• Supervise the preparation and packaging of medications in accordance with established protocols.

• Active Pharmacist license with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Prior experience in a long-term care or institutional pharmacy setting preferred.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems; experience with Frameworks LTC is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
