Assembler- $18/hr
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team and ensure high-quality production of our products. The role involves following safety procedures, assembling components, and ensuring products meet specification standards.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety procedures and use required safety equipment according to company policies and practices.
- Review work orders for product specifications and requirements.
- Visually inspect components and completed units during assembly for quality and accuracy.
- Select and assemble parts and assemblies together in proper sequence by drilling holes, adding rivets, screws, braces, tape, etc., to meet specifications.
- Select appropriate sub-assemblies or component parts and install them in the unit according to design specifications.
- Apply wiring harnesses, sensors, and other electrical components in cabinet as per specifications.
- Use a wide range of hand tools, drill, rivet gun, saw, hy-pot tester, hacksaw, and drill press.
- Complete assembly processes to finish the unit in specified sequence.
- Ensure that completed units meet specified quality standards prior to moving them to the next workstation.
- Foam completed cabinets according to engineering specifications.
- Clean the immediate work area on a daily schedule.
- Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
Essential Skills
- Requires high school diploma or GED.
- Computer skills or willingness to learn.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience with demonstrated product assembly.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to read, interpret and follow wiring diagrams and blueprints.
- Ability to read and differentiate part numbers, labels, and work instructions.
- Experience in standing, bending, reaching, and handling bulky parts is common to the job.
- Preferred manufacturing experience.

Work Environment
The work environment involves standing, bending, and reaching while handling bulky parts. The shift starts at 8:00 AM, and all tasks are performed in compliance with safety standards, utilizing various hand tools and machinery.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Marietta, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
