Elementary assistant principal

Horizon Science Academy Dayton Elementary School is looking for an Assistant Principal of School Culture to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year.

Assistant Principal of School Culture “APSC” is an innovative and experienced person who is strong in discipline, leadership, and communication skills. The APSC is a leader who promotes school improvement, ensures school safety, performs managerial tasks, and organizes the disciplinary committees. The APSC helps to create a shared vision, removes obstacles to learning, manages
resources, and gains the support of students, administrators, parents, and the community through the implementation of PBIS and SEL standards. In short, APSC is the embodiment of the life and spirit of the school, its students, systems, and traditions.

Broad scope of position is to implement a professional discipline program that encourages a positive, proactive, and supportive learning environment by parents and faculty for all students. Assistant Principal of School Culture “APSC” reports to the Principal.

Education & Experience:

• Master's Degree
• Valid OH Administrative certificate/license or must be in the process of obtaining a valid OH certificate/license

Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation packages are competitive and commensurate with experience. Horizon Science Academy offers a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision, life and disability coverage. Employees participate in Ohio STRS (state retirement system). Tuition Reimbursement available up to 3K per year.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
