Your Role: Accountant

As our Accountant, you’ll be the financial backbone of our organization, ensuring our numbers are as reliable as our toys are cuddly. You’ll oversee all accounting operations, drive process improvements, and provide key insights that help shape our business decisions. This is a hands-on role with room to grow—perfect for someone who wants to lead and innovate in a dynamic setting.

What You’ll Do

· Lead and manage all aspects of daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.

· Prepare, review, and present timely financial reports and statements to leadership, supporting strategic decision-making.

· Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

· Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize our financial performance[

· Develop and enforce accounting policies and internal controls to safeguard company assets

· Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Sales, and other departments to support business initiatives and ensure smooth operations.

· Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit processes.

· Mentor and support junior accounting staff as we continue to grow]

What We’re Looking For

· 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; Sage 100 / MAS 90 experience is a plus.

· Associate’s degree in accounting or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).

· Hands-on experience with accounting systems and a knack for process improvement.

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
