Landscape Team Leader

Join our team at Brian-Kyles as a Landscape Team Leader, a key role that is the face of our company to our clients. This position involves leading a team of 2-3 members, ensuring that jobs are completed to company standards in the most time-efficient and safe manner possible. The Landscape Team Leader is responsible for various landscape labor functions, equipment preparation, and safety inspections. During the winter season, the role transitions into snow and ice-related duties. Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a crew of 2-3 personnel in accordance with company standard operating procedures.
• Perform various landscape labor functions including planting and installing perennials, shrubs, and trees, bed preparation, and installing interlocking concrete pavers, garden and retaining walls, and stamped concrete patios.
• Prepare truck for the day – load and secure equipment on trucks/trailers.
• Perform routine safety inspections of both vehicle and trailer on a daily basis.
• Read both landscape and construction print and interpret symbols.
• Document and refer maintenance requests as they arise to mechanic in a timely manner via the Samsara app.
• Responsible for assigned tools for team each season.
• Perform various snow removal labor function during snow season.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading a team in a landscaping or similar environment.
• Ability to perform various landscape labor functions.
• Experience in preparing equipment for daily operations.
• Ability to perform routine safety inspections.
• Knowledge of landscape and construction print and symbols.
• Experience with the Samsara app or similar maintenance request systems.
• Experience in snow removal labor function.
