Chase Business Banking operates in over 5,000 branches across the country, providing financial services to approximately 2.5 million business clients. As a Business Analyst I within the Business Practices and Oversight team you will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and driving strategic initiatives. You will utilize your advanced understanding of data analytics and automation technologies to identify patterns, analyze complex data sets, and propose innovative solutions. Your expertise in cross-functional collaboration will enable you to work effectively with diverse teams, ensuring alignment with business strategies. Additionally, you will leverage your advanced computer literacy and digital proficiency to improve processes and customer interactions. Your role will involve coaching and delegating tasks to others, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team. Your decisions and work results will significantly impact team and departmental goals, contributing to the overall success of the firm.

Job responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets using advanced data analytics skills to support operational initiatives and strategic decision-making.
  • Utilize automation technologies to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and support the implementation of business strategies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to team members, ensuring tasks and responsibilities align with project objectives for efficient and effective outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with diverse teams across the organization to align efforts, share knowledge, and drive the successful execution of projects.
  • Leverage digital platforms and technological tools to improve processes, enhance customer interactions, and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Champion best practices in process improvement and operational excellence, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support the National Sales organization via a field feedback triage process by collecting observations, conducting root cause analysis, and partnering with solution owners to develop prioritized roadmaps
  • Support the development of ongoing education and training resources, providing targeted, proactive support through upskilling initiatives and workshops

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct data analysis and interpret complex data sets, with proven expertise equivalent to 2+ years of experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in using automation technologies to optimize processes and implement business strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
  • Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration, coordinating efforts and sharing knowledge to drive project success
  • Advanced computer literacy and digital proficiency, with a track record of leveraging technology to enhance processes and customer interactions
  • Provide quality service to customers through continuous communication
  • Understanding of software delivery lifecycle and skills in industry-standard methodologies and related tasks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficient in leveraging artificial intelligence and AI tools to enhance data analysis, analyze business trends, and provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making
  • Skilled in implementing automation solutions to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency, with experience in technology/process release management
  • Proficient in applying customer service and conflict management skills to understand client needs, deliver tailored solutions, and facilitate effective collaboration in a team environment
  • Capable of crafting clear and effective prompt writing to guide data analysis, ensuring consistent outcomes, and contributing to a collaborative work environment by sharing knowledge and supporting team initiatives
