Senior Accountant
Job Description
Overview
A client of Insight Global is a global financial technology company, specializing in payment processing, check scanning, and secure document capture solutions that support banks and businesses in improving efficiency and fraud prevention. With a strong international presence and a North American hub in the Dayton, Ohio area, this organization operates in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Lead month-end close, including journal entries, GL reconciliations, and P&L analysis

Manage intercompany transactions and consolidations

Prepare monthly financial reporting and performance analysis

Oversee cash management, including bank reconciliations, liquidity tracking, and cash flow reporting

Support loan analysis, borrowing base, and account reconciliations

Process vendor payments (ACH/wire) and manage sales tax coordination

Partner with auditors during year-end and ensure GAAP compliance

Drive process improvements and support budgeting/forecasting efforts

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

4-7+ years of corporate accounting experience (manufacturing/logistics preferred)

Strong experience with month-end close, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel

Experience with cash flow and financial analysis

Detail-oriented with strong communication skills

CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
