Technology Program Management Manager- Lending

As a Program Management Manager within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX or Cleveland, OH.
This role is responsible for leading delivery across our Lending Technology portfolio. They will own a dedicated Lending domain and oversee the execution of high‑impact technology programs that enable growth, operational excellence, and great customer experiences. You will operate in a highly strategic environment—partnering with senior leaders —while leading a team of program and project managers to deliver measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities- Lead a portfolio of Lending technology programs and projects, ensuring delivery of defined outcomes, timelines, and budgets.
- Own a dedicated domain within the Lending technology portfolio, managing the full lifecycle of assigned programs from planning through execution and value realization.
- Manage and develop a team of 8–12 Program and Project Managers; providing coaching, performance oversight, and career development.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Lending Operations, and Risk/Compliance to align priorities and drive cross‑functional execution.
- Provide clear, executive‑ready reporting and insights for senior leadership and stakeholders in partnership with the Technical Program Management Office.
- Drive strong delivery practices, stakeholder communication, resource forecasting, and delivery governance.
- Oversee resource allocation, capacity planning, and budget management across the assigned project/program portfolio.
- Ensure solutions meet compliance, operational readiness, and production stability requirements.
- Implement and continuously enhance TPMO standards, processes, tools, and governance frameworks.
- Identify and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and issues while ensuring transparency and traceability across all initiatives.
- Proven leadership experience managing program and project managers, preferably within a technology‑focused environment.
- Strong background in Lending technology or Lending product environments (e.g., consumer, mortgage, small business, credit decisioning, servicing).
- Demonstrated success delivering complex Lending projects or programs end‑to‑end.
- Technical fluency and the ability to engage with engineering teams to understand risks, dependencies, and delivery considerations.
- Experience with resource management, including capacity planning, forecasting, and vendor/partner coordination.
- Strong executive communication skills, with experience preparing senior‑level updates.
- Deep knowledge of program management frameworks including planning, governance, change management, and benefits realization.
Ability to operate in a highly strategic environment with cross‑organizational influence.

- Manages and assesses the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; participates in the development of strategies to ensure projects achieve overall program goals.
- Oversight and reporting for the overall program budget while working to ensure success of the program.
- Monitors and evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the programs and recommends enhancements based on results.
- Coaches and develops program managers. Retains and grows relationships with service partner leadership to ensure seamless delivery and a consistent experience across multiple distribution channels.

This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
