Radiological Instrument Technician 3 [2 Positions]

- Ensures internal & OP-06 listed lab equipment is operational & up-to-date on calibration; Performs weekly gamma range check;
- Performs basic & complex repairs to analog &/or digital electronic radiation detection equipment;
- Ensures radiological instruments are calibrated to National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) standards & internal laboratory standards;
- Serves as backup to the quality manager in their absence;
- Serves as lead worker by providing work direction to lower-level radiological instrument technicians performing repairs & calibrations;
- Or completion of associate core program in electronics, electronics engineering or electrical/electronic engineering;
- Or 24 mos. exp. as Radiological Instrument Technician 2, 84422; valid driver's license.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
