We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team in Akron, OH, 44333. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the assembly of mechanical components and systems, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Responsibilities- Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications and blueprints.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
- Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and productivity.
- Document assembly processes and report any issues to supervisors.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and assembly techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
