Reifel Industries Inc. is an ISO 9001:2008 registered custom e-coating facility located in Pioneer Ohio that provides full & partly e-coating, dip-spin painting, and zinc plating services to

the entire Midwest, but especially to Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.

Job Type: Full-time This is a 3rd shift position

Pay: $18.00 per hour + $1.00 shift premium

Production hours are 4 x 10-hour shifts, minimal OT, 3-day weekends, Work week start Monday Nights

Expected hours: 40 per week

Must have 1yr Forklift experience Required!

The Scales Operator plays a key role in maintaining product integrity and accurate recordkeeping at the end of the production process. This position is responsible for weighing, inspecting, labeling, and transferring finished parts while ensuring compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment

General Duties:
· Know where the Quality Policy is located and understand how it relates to your role· Understand who your next internal or external customer is and how your job impacts theirs· Read, understand, and follow all applicable quality alerts· Know and properly use required safety equipment· Identify and separate non-conforming parts using proper hold tag proceduresJob Specific Duties:
· Work cooperatively with members of the Production, Shipping, and Quality departments· Safely and efficiently operate a forklift as needed· Verify that parts are packaged in the correct containers per the work ticket instructions· Confirm that the part quantity on the work ticket matches the quantity in the container via weighing or manual count· Visually inspect 10 parts from each container for defects in the e-coat finish· Alert the Quality department if a special inspection is noted on the work ticket· Accurately scan and complete all required fields on the work ticket· Print and apply appropriate company and/or customer shipping labels and documents· Move completed parts from the scales to the finished goods inventory· Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area· Communicate any part or line issues clearly with both incoming and outgoing shifts* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
· Work performed in a manufacturing/factory environment· Exposure to noise, chemicals, dust, and changing temperatures· Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.)

• Ability to lift between 25 to 50 pounds or more repetitively and occasionally
• Physical Demands Required ! It’s important you can keep up with the job's physical demands to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employees must have the ability to stand up to 100% of the time and are required to use their hands and fingers to handle objects. They must be able to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, push and pull. There are areas where you will possibly be lifting above the head to place or remove racks as well. Employees MUST regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds repetitively and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds or more
• Must be able to pass a drug screen as well as random drug screens. THC is also NOT allowed.

Use of PPE (personal protective equipment) is required at all times

In this role, you will report to the Production Supervisor and work closely with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines. The ideal candidate will have strong computer literacy skills to navigate our production systems and input data accurately.

Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will be key to your success in this role.
