Director of Digital Design - User Experience

Job Description
Cintas is seeking a Director of Digital Design to lead design efforts and standards for Cintas’ customer experience. In this role, you will oversee the design strategy, execution, and cross-functional collaboration to create best-in-class user experiences. Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Customer Experience, you’ll shape the design culture, recruit and lead a team of talented designers, and drive innovation that aligns with business goals.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee the end-to-end design process, including User Journey Mapping of the Online to Offline experience, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional user experiences across all touchpoints.
- Recruit, build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of designers, fostering career growth and development.
- Represent the design team and its vision in executive meetings, communicating design impact and strategy to stakeholders.
Skills/Qualifications
- Proven track record of managing and scaling design teams in fast-paced environments.
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, accessibility, and research methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with design systems and building scalable frameworks for consistent UX delivery.
- A portfolio showcasing your ability to drive impactful design strategies and deliver innovative solutions.
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in Product/UX Design, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
Preferred
- PMP Certified
