Qualified candidate will join an established academic faculty practice and supervise residents in both outpatient and surgical settings. The eye clinic at MetroHealth Medical Center serves also as a major training site for the Cole Eye Institute Ophthalmology Residents. Clinical facilities include technical support staff, state of the art clinical equipment and two ambulatory surgery centers. Immediate volume of 26-28 patients per day along with surgical volume of 200-400+ surgeries per year. The department has 6 ophthalmologists and 6 optometrists. This busy eye clinic sees 2,000 cases a year. Clinical facilities include technical support staff, state of the art clinical equipment and an ambulatory surgery center.
