Robert Half is looking for a senior accountant for a growing Cincinnati based company. The senior accountant plays a key part in month-end close, general ledger accuracy, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities
•Account reconciliations / variance analysis
•Maintain general ledger accuracy and journal entries
•Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
•Support internal and external audits
•Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AP, AR, Payroll, Operations)
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.• Proficiency in month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and account reconciliation practices.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Familiarity with supporting both internal and external audit procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
