LCS is looking for a Relationship Manager to represent Rent Manager (our industry leading, flagship software) in the residential rental housing industry. This is more than just a networking role – it’s a strategic position where your connections, insight, and industry knowledge will shape how we show up in the market and engage with partners, associations, and internal teams. You’ll be our industry ambassador, developing and maintaining high-value relationships, attending and speaking at events, leading pre-show strategies, and ensuring our partnerships are thriving. You’ll also collaborate internally – sharing industry trends, contributing to marketing campaigns, and helping us improve how we work.

Responsibilities
· Build and nurture long-term relationships with industry associations, partners, and key stakeholders.
· Represent the company at industry events, committees, and speaking engagements, ensuring our brand is positioned as a thought leader.
· Develop and execute strategies to maximize the benefits of association memberships, enhancing our presence and influence in the market.
· Act as an industry expert, continuously seeking educational opportunities and staying updated on emerging trends and topics.
· Share industry knowledge internally and collaborate with marketing to ensure relevant insights are communicated effectively.
· Lead and organize pre-show meetings, setting the strategy and objectives for industry events and conferences.
· Work with internal teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and implement new ideas that drive operational success.
· Monitor and manage budgetary guidelines, ensuring all efforts align with financial objectives and preventing overages.
· Attend local industry networking events on a regular basis.
· Travel is expected approximately 25%–50% of the time, primarily within the U.S. that may span weekends on occasion.
Qualifications
· High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
· 3+ years of prior experience related to the property management industry
· Proven experience in relationship management, business development, or account management, ideally in the property management or software industry
· Strong understanding of the property management industry, with the ability to communicate key trends and insights
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building and sustaining relationships
· Experience in event planning, public speaking, and representing a company at industry events
· Ability to collaborate across departments, particularly with marketing and operations teams, to drive initiatives and improve processes
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage budgets effectively
· Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently
