Operations Supervisor - 2nd Shift
Responsibilities
- Set clear expectations and drive performance by communicating goals, coaching your team, and holding both employees and fellow leaders accountable for results.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Production, Warehouse, and peer Supervisors to ensure your shift hits daily output, quality, and service targets.
- Own workload distribution—assign responsibilities, monitor progress, and ensure tasks are completed safely, correctly, and on time.
- Develop your people through meaningful 1:1s, coaching conversations, and career‑path planning that strengthens the bench and builds future leaders.
- Lead all talent decisions on your shift, including interviewing, selecting, onboarding, coaching, and corrective action within assigned job classifications.
- Oversee shift‑level ADP functions such as timecard accuracy, attendance management, and schedule adjustments.
- Champion training excellence by maintaining an accurate training matrix and ensuring every team member is skilled and certified in their responsibilities.
- Support quality performance by addressing concerns quickly, partnering with Quality teams, and reinforcing standard work expectations.
- Communicate confidently and professionally with cross‑functional leaders, peers, and upper management.
- Champion continuous improvement—lead problem solving, engage employees, and help drive a culture of efficiency and ownership.
- Lead from the front by modeling professionalism, work ethic, and the company’s values every day.
- Share key results and insights by reporting shift performance, issues, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Proven experience leading and training teams in a fast‑paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to motivate and influence a diverse team.
