Electronics Assembler

Job Title: Electronics Assembler ($17-22/hr.) (1st Shift)

Job Description

As an Electronics Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and soldering circuit boards, wire assemblies, and small panel units. You will accurately follow company documentation and diagrams to assemble items, clean circuit boards as needed, and inspect and repair post wave boards. You will utilize soldering equipment as well as various hand and power tools, while maintaining a clean workbench.

Responsibilities

• Clean circuit boards as needed.
• Inspect and repair post wave boards.
• Utilize soldering equipment and various hand and power tools.
• Maintain a clean workbench and workspace.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to utilize hand tools, soldering equipment, and follow schematics.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs as needed.
• Comfortable working in various departments and performing multiple job duties.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• IPC certifications are a plus, but not required.
• At least 1 year of previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• At least 6 months of previous electronic assembly experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read schematics preferred, but not required.

Work Environment

Work a four-day week from Monday to Friday, 6 am to 4:30 pm, in a climate-controlled facility with around 40 employees on-site. The company promotes a 'swarm culture' that encourages cross-training and collaboration, with multiple team members assisting with tasks as needed, even outside their typical work areas. The dress code is relaxed, allowing for comfortable attire, including shorts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wooster, OH.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $37.95/hr.
