Development and Events Manager

Mobile Meals of Toledo (MMoT) is a nonprofit social service agency that delivers nourishing food to support the general welfare and enhances the quality of life of older adults in our community by identifying, developing, and providing culturally sensitive nutrition services and related in-home support.
The Development and Events Manager is responsible for helping Mobile Meals of Toledo further its mission by raising funds that enable us to continue serving our community. We are looking for an optimistic fundraiser with broad general experience who is a lifelong learner.
The Development and Events Manager reports to the Chief Executive Officer and assists with forward-facing donor coordination and engagement and behind-the-scenes donor management. This position frequently interacts with the public as a representative of Mobile Meals of Toledo and is responsible for helping to ensure the success of fundraising, donor relations, and community events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field is required
- Three to five years of professional experience in event planning, fundraising, and donor management
- Must be a self-starter/self-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
- A high degree of professionalism and sensitivity to confidential information
- Team player with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, board members, committee members, and volunteers
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficient; knowledge of Network for Good or other CRM, and Microsoft Office
- Demonstrate initiative and accept accountability; effectively manage time and communicate and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
- Should be accessible for fundraiser activities before and after regular work hours, including weekends, as needed
- Enthusiastic attitude and love for the mission of Mobile Meals of Toledo
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for overseeing all functions of donor database management (via Network for Good), including data accessibility, managing reporting, and database output, donor correspondence, gift processing, pledge reminders, and mailing lists from defined criteria and other special needs with accuracy and promptly
- Manages the overall planning, organization, budgeting, sponsorships donations, in-kind donations, and implementation of fundraising events
- Oversees all annual fundraising programs
- Manages a comprehensive donor program designed to broaden the donor base and increase overall participation and financial support
- Conducts major gift prospect research with a focus on increasing annual gifts
- Establishes fundraising goals, objectives, strategies, schedules, and analysis of results for each element of the annual giving programs
- Refines and executives the five-year development plan
- Analyzes data regarding the development program and past giving trends to provide analyses of program results and a plan for future segmentation.
- Provides content, where needed, to support publications and marketing materials
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
