Location: Spring Hills Middletown - Middletown, NJ Position Type: Part-Time (6:30am-2:30pm) About Us:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dining Services Captain to lead our dining team in providing high-quality meal service. This role is vital in ensuring our residents enjoy a pleasant and fulfilling dining experience. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and an understanding of dining operations in a hospitality or healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dining Operations: Supervise meal service, ensuring efficiency, high-quality presentation, and adherence to dietary guidelines.

• Team Leadership: Guide, train, and support dining staff, fostering teamwork and maintaining high service standards.

• Resident Engagement: Build rapport with residents to understand their dining preferences and promptly address concerns.

• Event Coordination: Assist in organizing special dining events, celebrations, and themed meals to enhance resident satisfaction.

• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure a clean, sanitary, and safe dining environment in compliance with all health regulations.

• Inventory & Supply Management: Assist in monitoring dining supplies, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining organized stock levels.

Experience & Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (degree in hospitality or related field is a plus).

• Prior experience in dining services, food service, or hospitality, preferably in an assisted living or healthcare setting.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service.

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
